Vera Chang

Conservatoire à rayonnement régional de Paris France

Vera Chang graduated from the Music Department of National Taipei University of Arts for bachelor degree. Before going to France, she went to Italy for Città di BarlettaYoung Musicians International Competition, and won the third prize. In France, she studied with Olivier Gardon at Conservatoireà rayonnement régional de Paris, and obtained the diploma of cycle de Concertiste. During her stay in France, Ms. Chang got numerous opportunities to collaborate with the other musicians and recitals. In 2015, she was invited to perform a recital in Paris-Viarmes by Virtuoses du Coeur.
In 2016, after Vera returned to Taiwan, she was invited to numerous performances, such as MoonString symphony Orchestra founding concert, piano trio with flutist Yang Anli and violinist Wang Yunting to perform “Good day Paris” at Taipei City Arts and Culture Promotion Center, piano trio with violinist Guo Chengshan and cellist Cai Zihan to perform “The Good Times” at Wenshui Concert Hall, “HEART CONTACT” with violinists Zhou Tianai and Xie Mingxuan at Eslite Performance Hall. Taoyuan City government also invited her to perform on Haiti’s president welcome concert.

While she devotes herself to teaching, she also co-founded Y.c.Pianist with pianist Yen-Chih Lin to promote classical music. Besides creating different style of arts, such as storytelling and writing, the duo also held a series of “BONJOUR” piano concert tours and hosted pre-concert talk around Taiwan.
